The Crafts Council houses Britain's largest contemporary crafts gallery. here is a continuous programme of major craft exhibitions, some of which tour nationally and internationally. Exhibition themes cover a wide range from pottery to textiles and even one on spectacle frames by international jewellers and artists.
Other public services include a gallery shop selling books and craft objects, a reference library, picture library and a programme of educational events corresponding to the current exhibition.
There is also a Crafts Council Gallery housed at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
