Primrose Hill

Just to the north of Regent's Park, Primrose Hill offers good views of London, weather permitting.An indicator board at the top of the hill marks the position of famous buildings visible from there.
Trees covered Primrose Hill until they were cleared 400 years ago. For a time it was the site of many a duel but today it is a popular location for the more peaceful pastime of kite flying.
The hill is also a traditional place for Druid worship. A ceremony takes place annually at the Autumn Equinox, in mid September.
