Remembrance Day Service & Parade (12th November)
Solemn outdoor parade and service where the Queen, members of the Royal Family and senior politicians pay tribute to those who have lost their lives serving their country. The Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force are strongly represented as well as civilian services.
Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree (2nd week of December onwards)
The people of Norway have donated a vast Christmas tree to the people of the United Kingdom as a gesture of thanks to the British people for liberating them from the Germans in the last war. Every evening until Christmas Day, carols are sung under the tree.
Christmas Day Swim (25th December)
