Popular Georgian pub on the edge of Bloomsbury complete with snob screens at the bar that allow the drinker to deprive the landlord of gossip! Of interest is the Victorian Polyphone which happily sings on insertion of an old penny.
These are obtainable from the bar if you make a donation to charity. Lining the walls are hundreds of valuable photographs from the heydays of music hall recalling stars long since forgotten. Run by Young's Brewers as one of their most cherished pubs, the beers are extremely well kept
