An extremely well hidden pub tucked away in a mews behind the grand houses of Knightsbridge, this attractive little place used to be a regular drinking haunt of the Duke of Wellington. Military traditions are kept up with frequent visits by current serving officers of the Duke of Wellington's Regiment and a tiny candlelit interior filled with dusty relics from the Battle of Waterloo.
Famous for its Bloody Marys which are made to a secret recipe and avidly consumed on Sunday mornings, this is undoubtedly one of the prettiest pubs in the capital. The charmingly eccentric chef counts the resident ghost as one of his close friends. Madonna has been a regular visitor and Prince William and chums have been seen here on a number of occasions.
