A London stalwart, the Cork and Bottle is a very welcome relief from the barrenness of Leicester Square. You'll have a problem finding the place as you need to descend from street level. Once there however, you'll find comforting wine vaults with a warm atmosphere and a steady hubbub of conversation.
Ably run by Don, the proprietor since 1971, you'll find friendly service and immediate assistance when selecting from the solid wine list. To compliment this, home prepared wholesome food and salads provide the perfect foil
