Carr-Saunders Hall provides accommodation for over 150 people in single or double rooms, each with pleasant furnishings, hand basins and comfortable beds. There are 132 single rooms, 10 twin rooms and 2 En-Suite twin rooms. Bed linen and towels are provided. There are toilets, baths and showers on each floor as well as small kitchens for the preparation of hot drinks and snacks. The building is served by a coin-operated launderette, card and payphones, with a reception open from 8:30 am to 12:00 midnight. The full English breakfast (included in the price) is served in the top floor dining hall.

Within LSE Residences, the following terminology is used to describe facilities available -

• Single a room with one single bed
• Twin a room with two single beds
• Triple a room with three single beds
• Quad a room with four single beds

The term "Standard" is used for a room with single bed(s), wash-hand basin, wardrobe(s), chair(s) and telephone.

The term "Economy" is used for a small single room with two single beds and Standard facilities.

The term "En-Suite" is a Standard plus Bathroom (Toilet & Shower) within the room.

Double beds are not provided in any rooms within LSE Residences.
